We are have been Shiba enthusiasts since 1994. We show in confirmation, participate in fun dog sports, and have occasional litters of Shibas. We are also good friends with other Shiba enthusiasts, as well as fans of Kai, Hokkaido, and Kishu. Check out the “Our Friends” page for links to their sites. Networking and building community is a huge endeavor in the breed preservation world.

Education

If you live in the Seattle area, you may have seen us at the breed information booth at the Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show, Tacoma Kennel Club dog show, or the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival. We feel that educating people on the wonderfulness of Japanese native dogs is an important mission, second only to making sure that people understand all that is entailed in owning a dog, and helping them decide if they are really ready for a Nihon Ken!
